Registration

The Calendar section can be used to check the period for entries for people with disability and guides.

Entrants must present their entry together with a copy of their federated athletic licence in accreditation of their disabled athlete status, issued by the corresponding Disabled People's Sports Federation and their hearing test result in the case of Deaf People. The licence must indicate the assigned disabled athlete category.

Priority accommodation will be given to wheelchair and handbike category entrants registering before 30 September. This is because of the infrastructure we have available to transfer wheelchairs and hand bikes.

Categories

  • Wheelchairs.
  • Handbikes.
  • Physical-motor disability.
  • Athletes with cerebral palsy.
  • Visually impaired.
  • Disabled skaters.
  • Deaf people.

For a category to exist there must be at least six athletes to make up the category, for both women and men.

All wheelchair and handbike athletes will be required to withdraw from the race if they are overtaken by the athletes on foot before the Gantxurizketa summit.
